Taylor, Charles

Taylor was born in 1910 and died in 1975. He was active and lived in Pennsylvania and is known for painting genre/town scenes and landscapes. He was an easel painter and worked in watercolor, oils, and charcoal. He belonged to the American Watercolor Society, Audubon Society of Artists, and the Salmagundi Club in New York City. He had exhibited in the National Academy of Design, the Salmagundi Club, and the American Watercolor Society of Painters in Watercolor. He is in the Art Institute of Chicago, Carnegie Institute International, The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C. He has achieved his place in the collections of art lovers around the country and has sold at auction successfully over the past 4 years.
